| ISAP has a very large panel of experts and has more
than 1100 of its 2000 members on the internet egroups. Queries from farmers are
passed onto the concerned experts and the answers are emailed/posted to the
farrmers. We have agreements in place with Drishtee and N Logue to funnel in
queries from farmers. We have also put in place partnerships with a sizeable
numebr of NGOs to support the farmers in their area of operations. |

Market linkage services

| ISAP plays an important role in market linkage activities to farmers and it's members through festivals, retails and APMC linkages. Market linkage involves providing reliable marketing information, organizing events, workshops etc of different agricultural and allied sector commodities to the farming community. ISAP is doing this activity on no loss no profit basis. This activity helps the producers to realize better income for their produce.

| The information needs of the corporates are specific
and within every crop they would want specific information about some specific
districts in the country. Given the large network that ISAP has bulit, it is in
a position to do such work with corporates. ISAP is also in a position to do
impact assessment and other studies on the ground for corporates, funding
institutions and government departments because of the grass root network.
Today these studies are normally done by consultants who are based in the large
cities who travel out to the rural areas and in many cases the cost of
monitoring and evaluation equals the amount spent on projects.

| ISAP acts as a back end for customer technical
services which is normally a department within every agri corporate which
organises demonstrations, training and answers queries of farmers. ISAP will
offer to take up the task of customer query redressal for all these corporates
who receive hundreds of letters from farmers most of which may not be replied.

| Agri-clinic Startup and Sustainability

| ISAP helps set up and manage agribusiness clinics by
providing training, course content, know-how and managerial inputs.
Agri-Clinics are run by private individuals/NGOs/Co-operatives. The role of
ISAP is only advisory in nature and ISAP will not be involved in day to day
running of clinics. These clinics fall under the relevant schemes of the GOI
and therefore will be eligible for the subsidy, training & other incentives
provided by GOI. Role of ISAP is complimentary nature. |

| Content Aggregation and Dissemination |

| ISAP works with a number of existing initiatives
and plays the role of content aggregator and disseminator to the agricultural
sector. Since it is a section 25 not for profit company, ISAP would like lnk
various service providers to the farming community through its networks amongst
professionals, organisations and the farming community. ISAP also helps
establish market linkages by helping the local volunteers organize Self Help
Groups of farmers and facilitating movement of farm produce.
As a part of the market information service ISAP has empanelled
experts in around 50 districts across the country, which have markets with a
major share of the arrivals of the main agricultural crops in the country. ISAP
gets a monthly update from each of these experts in a predetermined format.
Consolidation and analysis of this work is done in ISAP, Delhi and the monthly
report will be made widely available through out the ISAP network.
