Technical and Socio-Economic Services

 ISAP would also continue with its socio-economic services wherein impact assessment studies would be conducted in various fields of poverty alleviation programmes, land management, micro-enterprises, micro-finance, watershed management, micro-irrigation and other areas of rural development. Contribution of ISAP has been recognized by various government organisations such as Ministry of Rural Development, Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Science and Technology and various other departments. 

ISAP has been empanelled with a good number of national and international agencies for under taking action based research work for sustainable livelihood programmes in rural areas.

Areas of operation of ISAP, other than supporting farmer community, include project evaluation studies in social and developmental sectors as well. The Team of Professionals working with the Organisation has expertise in statistical and economic analysis besides Agro-business and, in various social and developmental sectors like watershed and disaster management, livelihood generation programmes, health, sanitation, agro-commodity market linkages, micro-finance and other relevant fields.  ISAP also undertake large scale field surveys and investigations at National, State, District and below levels.  Village based micro studies is an important area of specialization of ISAP.
