OCPF Integrated Farming System Project, Rajasthan

The Rajasthan Integrated Farming Systems project is a prestigious and also a challenging project. Different kinds of IFS interventions, viz., high yielding early maturity varieties of field crops, INM, IPM, diversified nutritious green fodder production round the year for milk animals, goat & poultry keeping, vegetables,  horticultural and bio-pesticide resource trees,  farm machinery centers, farm and environmental resource conservation, value addition at farm gate, value chain and market linkage, topped by creation of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and setting up multipurpose Agribusiness Village Resource Centers (AVRCs), with  housing educational, social and health promoting resources /  facilities are the major included in this project. The project aims to inculcate the habit of obtaining maximum yield and profit with minimum cost in minimum time per unit area and per drop of water.
